Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using VibeDating ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use VibeDating
• You must not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
• You must not have been previously banned from VibeDating
• You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account or let others access it
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per person - multiple accounts are prohibited

4. User Conduct

4.1 You Agree To:

• Treat other users with respect and courtesy
• Use only photos of yourself that are recent and accurate
• Provide truthful information in your profile
• Report any violations or suspicious behavior
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment: Bullying, threatening, stalking, or intimidating other users
• Hate Speech: Content promoting discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Illegal Content: Sharing or promoting illegal activities, substances, or services
• Sexual Exploitation: Non-consensual intimate images, solicitation, or sexual harassment
• Spam: Sending unsolicited promotional messages, copy-paste messages, or automated content
• Fraud: Scams, catfishing, impersonation, or misrepresentation
• Minors: Any content involving or targeting minors
• Violence: Threats, glorification of violence, or dangerous activities
• Commercial Use: Using the App for advertising, recruiting, or selling products/services
• Malware: Uploading viruses, malicious code, or attempting to hack the App

5. Content Guidelines

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post but grant VibeDating a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

5.2 Photo Requirements

• Photos must be of you and taken within the last 2 years
• No nudity or sexually explicit content in profile photos
• No photos containing other people without their consent
• No photos with weapons, illegal substances, or offensive symbols
• No copyrighted images you don't have rights to use

6. Safety & Interactions

• VibeDating does not conduct criminal background checks on users
• Always meet in public places for first meetings
• Tell someone you trust about your plans
• Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, leave
• Report any concerning behavior immediately

7. Supporter Subscription

7.1 Premium Features

VibeDating offers a Supporter subscription ($25/month) with additional features including:

• Unlimited daily likes
• Advanced privacy controls
• See who viewed your profile
• Priority support
• Gold star badge on your profile

7.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play Store settings
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play Store policies

8. Moderation & Enforcement

8.1 Reporting

You can report users, messages, or content that violates these Terms. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

8.2 Consequences

Violations may result in:

• Warning
• Temporary ban (24 hours to 7 days)
• Permanent account termination
• Report to law enforcement if required

8.3 Appeals

If you believe your account was wrongly suspended, you may submit an appeal through the App or by contacting support.

9. Intellectual Property

• VibeDating and its logo, design, and features are owned by VibeDating
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
• You may not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners

10. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee you will find matches or a relationship
• We are not responsible for user conduct or content
• We do not verify the accuracy of user-provided information
• Service may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeDating and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Actions or conduct of other users
• Any amount exceeding what you paid to VibeDating in the past 12 months

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VibeDating, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

14. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
